Welcome to Hallelujah!

Hello my dear sisters and welcome to the first official Hallelujah! blog post. I am soo excited to be writing this and I’m even more thrilled that you’re here to read it!

My name is Grace and I am a Christian woman from Australia. I’m 24 years old, single (and not quite ready to mingle), surrounded by incredible friends, in a job that I love, and a total work in progress! The past few years of my life have been a whirlwind; I got out of a long term relationship, came back to faith, moved house, changed jobs multiple times, and have had my fair share of personal struggles.

There’s so much that I want to share with you, but for my first blog post I wanted to introduce myself, talk about the mission and vision for Hallelujah! and give you an idea of what to expect from here.

What Hallelujah! is all about..

As you may or may not know, Hallelujah! was created out of my passion to reach and encourage women (or men) to step into their identity as a precious child of God. My goal is to provide a space where you can explore your faith through podcast episodes, blogs, and other free resources. There are so many topics that I am passionate about and want to discuss with you. Whether it’s dating, reading the Bible, church, spiritual warfare, friendship or preparing for marriage, my prayer is that you will always leave feeling more encouraged and equipped than what you started.

A bit about me..

Considering we’ll be spending more time together each week as we unpack new topics, I think it’s worth taking some time to introduce myself. My name is Grace, and I am a Christian woman from Australia. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a Christian home and am surrounded by incredibly godly friends and family. I wish I could say that I stayed in the faith during my teen years, but I did have a period of about 8 years where I turned away from God and chose to live my own way.

My testimony is something that I’d like to share in a full podcast episode and blog post, so stay tuned for the whole story. However, what I can say is that looking back over the last 5-10 years of my life, I can see how much God has truly been watching over me and writing my story. Even when we actively choose to turn from Him, He never left nor forsake me. Deep down I always had this space in my heart and a longing for more. I was so caught up in the things of the world and I thought that it was fulfilling me, but I was constantly left feeling empty and alone. By the grace of God, a long term relationship ending was what I needed to finally come into a place of complete surrender to God. Ever since that day I’ve been growing closer to God and seeking out His will for my life. Granted, I haven’t done it perfectly and still fall short, but my life has completed changed over the past three years of coming back to the faith and I want to share it all with you.

What can you expect?

I know one thing I always find super helpful when I am following along on someone’s ministry, whether it’s a YouTube channel, podcast, Instagram account or blog, is knowing what they’ll be discussing and how frequently. So, what can you expect to see from Hallelujah! over the coming months and years? The Hallelujah! podcast will be full of down to earth conversations about all things dating, relationships, the church and other faith topics. Our blog will cover much of the same content as the podcast, but it will have more of a focus on unpacking topics in more detail, presenting the facts and discussing the biblical implications. I’ll also be creating a range of practical resources to help you live out your faith in the day to day.

If there’s anything in particular you’d like me to write or speak about, I’d love to hear from you! We’re in this together and I want to make sure that all of the content I’m putting out is what you’re looking for.

A final word and thank you!

Above all else, my prayer is that you are so encouraged by the content you get from Hallelujah! Whether it’s our podcast that you listen to, blog that you read, or resources that you download (or all of the above), I hope you leave feeling inspired and equipped to live out your faith as a Christian in this world.

I am so excited to start this journey with you and I can’t wait to see how God can use me to make an impact in other peoples lives. Thanks for being a part of the Hallelujah! family and I can’t wait to connect with you soon.

All my love,

Grace xx.
